Another great thing about all  these successful Avon business women is they're not perfect. They have goofy dogs and noisy children and hair that sticks up and extra pounds that they carry around but they get up everyday and work their business with focus and with love for their customers, their team members, their families, their company and their products.  So guess what?  They are just like US!  If they can do it!  So can we! I can't wait until I can make an announcement like Lisa Wilber does to share the amount of her leadership earnings each campaign.  $9636.96 for Campaign 18! (see below)

So, everyone whom went to the leadership conference has come away saying – something was different, you could feel something different. It wasn’t until today at church that I think I have figured it out and since it is Sunday, why not a little preaching
Avon invited only leadership to this conference. YES, I too like many wish it would have been opened to all but, leaders have a different mind-set than sellers. Now don’t get me wrong, we all care about our businesses and want our businesses to grow bigger and better than ever! Sellers are JUST - yes JUST as important. Leaders though not only have their businesses to care about but also those they are leading.
Avon, I think, wanted people of that mind-set – a leaders mind-set, in one place, one mind and one accord. (see the preaching coming) THAT I feel is the difference, the different feeling we all were feeling and experiencing. We were together with unity and passion. Unity brings togetherness. When two or more are in agreement!! Without unity and passion you cannot do great things. Thank you to my pastor for an awesome message today.
Every leader – or at least the majority of leaders I spoke to came hungry. Hungry to hear good news. Hungry to get something to lift them up. Hungry to meet all the Facebook friends. Hungry to learn anything they could to take back and put into action. HUNGRY!! We came expecting great things. Expecting to see all the fourth quarter products. Expecting to bring back good information and excitement. We came EXPECTING!!
HUNGRY and EXPECTING – what do these two words have in common?? Pregnancy and what happens with pregnancy – a BIRTH! I think we all have been given a NEW birth to our Avon businesses. Now let’s nurture this birth and help it GROW into something GREAT and SUCCESSFUL!!!

I'm ready for a new birth to my 10 year old Avon business!  I'm hungry and expecting and ready to work!  If you want your business to grow by leaps and bounds this 4th Quarter, share your dreams and goals with me and your actions steps for getting there!  I'm here to help and cheer you on to the level  of success you want to achieve!!!!
We should all feel like this at least once a day!

 I  want to feel this excited about my business every single day!!!

Business is Booming!!!

You may not think so but we are in a growth industry and there is a growth trend in direct selling that is going to continue for the foreseeable future.  Here are some things that can help you build your Avon business to the level where you are earning the income that you want and deserve!  If you don't have an Avon Success story yet, borrow one from someone who is successful.  Find someone that you identify with and promote their  story until you become as successful as they are.  I identified with Lisa Wilber the first time I heard her story on a DVD called "the Rich and Famous of Avon"(2003).  I know there are plenty of representatives on The BEE Team that remember that video or the one on "Women in the Spotlight" (2006).  I also got to meet Lisa in person in 2007 when she was in DesMoines at a rally. I even rode in the elevator with her and ask her my own burning questions!  I was even more impressed!  Avon has just given us another tool to use Lisa's story on page 1 of the C-16 brochure.  I've made that into a poster that you can you use to promote your leadership business in your local area or online.  Used in conjunction with the link to this YouTube video you can explain the advantages of direct selling in just 7 minutes.
"My Business is Booming"
When you talk to people and find out they need a job or more money for whatever reason,ask them for their email address so you can send them a video about a business that is booming. Also ask for their phone number so you can call them in a day or so to get their feedback about the video and give them your phone number so that they can call you if the video really gets them excited and they want to talk about it right away!

C-15 Business Buzz and Product Picks

 Jewelry makes me smile and feel happy.  Avon's fall jewelry collection come out in Campaign 18.  I'm planning a jewelry August!  Are you?  Until then these gorgeous everyday bracelets and the shimmering leaves ring will keep me happy! 


 A great skin care offer in C-15.  Let your customers know what we have to protect their skin from the sun and other environmental toxins.  I love the deep recovery cream.
 Another great way to offer extra service to your customers is share the new body brush and foot brush.  I'm impressed by the quality of these brushes.  Include an article about the benefits of dry brushing the skin before a shower or bath!  It's invigorating and a great exfoliator!

Summer Sales are Heating Up! Start Building Toward a Fabulous Fall!

Are you signed up for the Preferred Preview Program?  These new skin care products are coming out int Campaign 18 and Representatives with Preferred Preview will receive these three products in their Campaign 16 orders.  You can sign up on YourAvon.com.  Click on "my account"  and then "profile".  On the Account Information tab of your profile click "Make Change Now".  Then choose the "Yes" button next to the Preferred Preview option.  Click "Submit" to send your request to Avon and receive all future Preferred Preview opportunities!  These are offered about four times per calendar year.  If you enroll, you will receive a flyer promoting the next Preferred Preview offer.  You wil have 10 days to decline the offer by calling the toll-free number on the flyer.  If you do not decline, the products will be shipped and billed in the campaigns specified in the flyer.  You may cancel your participation any time by calling Avon at 1-866-349-2866 or by going to yourAvon.com and changing your Preferred Preview setting to "NO".

We had a great time at the President's Club Gala on June 4 at the Georgetown Club in Omaha!  Our little Bee Team  was front and center on the Awards and Recognition for District 5373!  Our very own Diana Andreasen recieved the Spirit of Avon Award!  It's I think this is the best award Avon gives!  You can see Diana receiving her award on our FaceBook page.

Campaign 11 Summer is Coming!!!

As Avon Representatives we know that when Bug Guard is on the cover of the brochure, summer will be here soon!!  Are you ready for the summer selling season?  Have you scoped out some places and activities where you can meet some new customers and make new friends?  What new products are you excited about sharing with your customers?  Who do you know that needs some extra income for the summer or has extra time during the summer to start a new enterprise?  Just like gardening it's time to start planting seeds and nourishing them to grow for a great fall harvest!

Plan for Your Success C-10 2014

Something to try if you need some new customers.  I found this on SEUL Sue Mazza's site: http://suemazza.com/  Sue shares lots of great resources and information that can help us grow our businesses, put more money in our pockets now and build our future fortunes.

THE  MAGIC  5 LINE SCRIPT
Line 1    Hi, I’m (your name) from ___(your company name)___ .
Line 2    (Company Name) having a Customer Appreciation Day
Line 3    We’re here today with free samples of the latest….…
(the new fall lipstick colors, newest fragrance, vitamin pack, energy drink, whatever, but remember.. everyone likes to feel they’re getting something for free!)
Line 4    (as they are looking through samples)    How many ladies work in your office so I can leave enough samples and brochures ?  (WAIT for them to answer as you smile as they look through the samples)
Line 5    (as you thank them and are getting ready to leave)…  Oh, by the way, we always give our customers a courtesy call before we place our order.  We’ll give you a call on (day you choose) to see if anyone needs any more samples or would like to place an order.  (Collect name, number, business card, etc)
There, you are done!   You are in and out of an office within a couple short minutes.
Now.. a couple of other notes.
On Appearance
Be sure to wear logo clothing, jewelry, etc.  Be professionally dressed in casual slacks/skirt, not jeans and logo top so that you look like you should, representing  your company.
On The Script
Line 2 – DO NOT SAY “ I am having a customer appreciation day”, say “(Your company name) IS HAVING A CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY.”
Our tests have shown that people respond much better to the corporate name in taking the free samples and brochures because your business is sponsoring it, as opposed to an independent rep.  And, just in case you feel funny,  perhaps you are saying to yourself.. well really my company hasn’t announced it and it really is just me doing this!!.. I can tell you, if you were to ask the CEO of your company, they would tell you that EVERY day is customer appreciation day!!  J  So , you can say this with confidence and truthfulness!
On Followup
The Fortune is in the Followup!    Be sure you call back before the order is due to ask if anyone has any questions or wants to order, or even wants new samples.   We’ve had story after story about reps waiting to call back, to hear comments like.. wow, we never thought you’d call.. or thank GOD you called, someone took my brochure and I didn’t have any way to reach you!  (and then place a LARGE order!)
Further followup can include things like:
Remember people like to buy from people they know, like and trust, and knowing their name, smiling, being friendly and professional, all these help them to know, like and trust us) … saying.. Hi (NAME),  I’m (Your Name) From (your company).   I was here a couple of weeks ago when (your company) had the CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY and I’ve got some new samples and brochures for you.. How many ladies work in your office?… (chat a bit to build know, like and trust and then let them know you’ll follow up by phone.   Sometimes it takes a couple of times going back to start to really build orders in the building.
Consistency is key to success.   So many times, a customer will get a brochure but then the rep never
follows up with a phone call, or goes back, so you taking the time to go back and call will help them build trust in You, your company, and in your Professionalism.
Further Followup can also include…   delivering an order to one office, then going down the hall to each consecutive office, saying something like.  Hi!  (name if you know it).. I’m (your name) from _____.   I was just down the hall delivering their order to the ladies in suite 101 (or whatever) and wanted to stop by to see you too and give you some more samples of the latest (lipstick, fragrance, skincare, etc)
This can be used on many consecutive visits!   After awhile, they will EXPECT YOU and LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VISIT!   Everyone loves free treats!
POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS  (So you  are not surprised!)
There really aren’t many.   Once in a while you’ll hear  someone say:   “well, you’re not allowed to solicit in here so you can’t leave brochures in the waiting room.. or something like that”   We have had great success saying… “oh, we’re not soliciting.. we’re is having a Customer Appreciation Day and we’re giving out Free samples and brochures.  Remember to smile and extend the samples to them and invite them to pick some out and leave only one brochure.   99.9% of the time, this takes care of any tension.    I have had ONLY ONE TIME where the “gatekeeper” at the front desk told me No, I couldn’t leave anything, so I thanked her for her time and left.. only to find one of the people from the office come out the back door and follow me down the hall because she wanted HER free samples and brochures!   She’s still a customer to this day!   Trust me, no one has ever thrown any rotten tomatoes at us!   Most people are really glad to see us!
Another comment you might hear is:  “We already have an representative”.   I always smile and say, THAT’S GREAT!   Thank you for being a customer!   That’s why we are here, so pick out some free samples and be sure to call your representative to order!    DO NOT LEAVE A BROCHURE  as that could be perceived as trying to steal business from a fellow representative, even if you have the best and noblest of intentions.
Rarely, someone will not want to give you a number  for followup.. very rarely.   If you ask with a smile and a positive attitude of assuming they want us to followup, you’ll get that contact info easily very often!
Remember, When people see us in our company apparel/logo items, to them, WE ARE CREDIBLE AND PROFESSIONAL. We are the Face of  that organization and we always want to leave a positive, upbeat, friendly and customer-focused impression.

I have customers that love this for their skin care regimen.  Now your customers can try

On my customer blog: I added a new feature called "Product of the Week".  SSS Satin Glow is my pick for this week.  I've been using the body scrub and the moisturizer for about a week and I can't believe how "sunkissed" my skin looks!  My winter white legs will soon be a thing of the past!!!!

The Volume is back in the Advanced Techniques Hair Care line.  I know some of my customers will be happy about that!  I'm looking forward to trying it too as it was the line that I used too! Yeah for Big Hair!



 Aqua Express is back for the summer with a cool fresh scent and loads of moisture!  In addition to the Body Wash, Moisturing Gel and Hand Lotion a new product has been added "Body Milk Spray" intro priced at $4.99 (pg 161)  It has shea butter and vitamin E to lock in moisture to smooth and soften skin.

I ordered this for myself and a demo and because I'm short I thought I might have to hem the back  length but it looked fine as it was so don't let your short customers tell you it won't work for them!  Great colors and great for add on sales for sandals and summery jewelry!

These are my favorite shoes!  So comfy and great for all the running around that we do!  Let your active customers know about these stylish "trail blazers".
